Hi Dr. Thorne. When using Invisalign, my teeth discolour slightly. This happens over the two weeks that I wear the aligners, despite my cleaning them as the orthodontist recommends (with washing up liquid). Is this normal, or should I be doing something different? Thank you.

Hi, thank you for your question. Retainer Brite is one of the best things to use in order to keep your aligners clean. You can also use Invisalign cleaning crystals, and thoroughly brushing your teeth whilst the aligners are out will prevent them from becoming discoloured. I hope this is helpful to you!
