could you tell me how long invisalign has been around and the rate of success and time frame compared to other more traditional brace systems? I am looking to get braces as i have very crooked teeth and am torn between the attractiveness of invisible braces and the established nature of metal braces. I don’t really want to have braces and find the work less than satisfactory but it would be nice to have unnoticeable braces at the same time. From your experience are they as good as metal braces and how long have you been using invisalign?

Invisalign has been around for over 10 years it works very well every person is different and so the treatmnet you require depends on what I see when I diagnose you. I use then a lot now where I would normally have used metal braces. I have used clear aligners for about 7-8 years.
