Refinements are like regular Invisalign treatment – they are a new batch of aligners to fine tune your tooth position into the planned ideal position. They are very common with Invisalign treatment as the body is a biological system and we can’t always predict teeth will move exactly as planned.
If you have had Invisalign teen or Invisalign full (regular Invisalign) you will have three sets (not aligners but courses) of refinement included in your fee. If you have had Invisalign Lite then you can have up to 5 aligners (one batch only) but often there is an additional charge.
