Q. Is it possible for Invisalign to correct an open bite? Additionally is it true that both Invisalign and traditional braces could cause repeated sore throat or other upper respiratory issues?,
A. I have not encountered anyone complaining of throat or respiratory problems. Invisalign can treat open bites to a certain extent and often without the need for other devices, however sometimes elastic bands are needed to help pull teeth down which are worn at night. I have treated several open bite cases but they can take longer to complete upto 18 months.

Q. Is invisalign able to treat an open bite? I know it can do teeth straightening things but is it okay for this kind of thing? I have had difficulty with my bite for some time now.
A. Hello,
Invisalign might be the right treatment for you but I would advise a consultation with the dentist.
