Can Invisalign straighten my teeth again and what can I do to stop them relapsing again?

Q.
Hello doctors,

I wonder if you could help me. I had braces about 10 years ago and my teeth within that time have relapsed. They are not as bad as they were, but I still would prefer them to be straight. A mild amount of crowding has occurred at the front of my mouth, probably because my wisdom teeth have come through and caused a bit of tightening. Anway, i waffle i was just wondering could invisalign treat this and will it be able to stop it relapsing again?

thank you very much for reading and for your time.

A.
Dear Sir/Madame,

Relapse following previous orthodontic treatment is very common and something a lot of people present at our practice with. Invisalign works really well for ‘relapse’ cases and can usually get things nice and straight again. What we need to make sure happens this time however is good long term retention with either a fixed retainer on the back of your teeth or specific Invisalign night time retainers. This is something any good Invisalgn doctor will provide.

I would advice you search the experienced Invisalign doctors in your area and ask for a consultation for the treatment.

Many thanks,
