Hi Dr. Thorne. When using Invisalign, my teeth discolour slightly. This happens over the two weeks that I wear the aligners, despite my cleaning them as the orthodontist recommends (with washing up liquid). Is this normal, or should I be doing something different? Thank you.

Hi Dr Sepehrara. I have been wanting to correct my teeth for quite a while now but the only problem with me is the cost. I’m currently studying, and this year would be perfect for me to try and go through a treatment for my teeth. I have slight crowding with my top teeth and more crowding with the bottom teeth. Would you be able to tell me what the average cost and length would be for treatment with Invisalign braces? I am 20 so I do pay for my regular treatments.

Hi Dr. Akere. I had braces around 3 years ago and my teeth were straight afterwards, but then my retainer broke and I didn’t get it sorted, and now my teeth have moved back. I want my teeth to be straight again as soon as possible, will Invisalign be the best solution for me? Thanks!

I was having a look through your website and was hoping you could make a recommendation for me. I had braces as a teenager, which left me with perfectly straight teeth. But due to my wisdom teeth coming through, this has pushed my molars forward and caused my front 4 teeth to squint. Hi Dr Manoloutsou. I just got my first tray yesterday. I’m not usually a water drinker, I dislike the taste it leaves in my mouth. I usually drink flavoured sparkling water. The flavoured water I drink contains no sugar and no artificial colours. However, the ingredients do include citric acid, potassium citrate, and malic acid. Can I can drink? Hello Dr Raj. I hope you can help me. I have a question regarding the plastic Invisalign trays and what they are made out of. I am about 3 months pregnant and I just needed to know if there were any toxins in the plastic that can harm the baby? Hello Dr Kumar. I’m 65 years old and recently lost my wife. I have always hated how misaligned my teeth were but they’re in such good condition (minus them being out of line) I’m a proud owner of a full set of teeth! I would love braces now and can see how much they’ve changed since I was a little lad. I feel I may be too old for braces now? What do you think? Hello Dr Thorne, I hope you can help me, I have a query for you. I was just wondering recently if it is okay to wear my aligners in the sauna three times a week for about 20mins to half an hour? Or will they melt? I would hate for anything to happen. Also is there any other activity that could harm or prevent my treatment from taking place successfully.
