Hi Dr Manoloustou. I dropped my top Invisalign aligner the other day and it’s now bent slightly, it seems to fit okay but not sure if i should go to my orthodontist about this? I’m not actually due to go and see her for another 3 weeks but if this slight bend is going to affect my treatment time then i’m not sure what i should do? What do you think?? should i make an appointment? She is always SO busy because she’s an amazing orthodontist so i don’t really want to trouble her if I don’t actually need to. I mean, it’s only bent I didn’t break it, thank fully I didn’t stand on it because then I would be in great trouble haha. Hi there! Thank you for your question. I think it would be better to go and see your dentist to have the aligner checked. If you just dropped the aligner and not actually stepped on it, then the aligner should be fine, but better check it just in case. Kind regards, Vasileia
