I have a small hole in my tooth, is this going to affect my invisalign treatment?

Q. I have a small hole on the back of my tooth which needs looking at and i\’ve booked an appointment. I\’m really worried that my dentist will extract the tooth and that my invisalign treatment will have to be put on hold 🙁 what are the chances of this happening? The hole is small.,

A. If you do have the tooth removed it will not stop the Invisalign treatment. You could continue the sequence of braces even though your tooth is removed. If you a filling placed you cold continue with the Invisalign treatment IF the filling is not a lot larger than the tooth.
