Hello Dr Kumar. I have a question I would like clarification on. I used to have braces and didn’t wear my retainers long enough, which meant that I suffered from orthodontic relapse. I have since been quoted £4000 for Invisalign for some minor corrections on my teeth. Is this right? I was expecting less, especially as the Invisalign website quotes £1800 for minor treatment. This has left me a little confused and any advice you could offer me on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Dear Enquirer, every dentist has his or her own way of providing Invisalign treatment. Maybe the corrections are greater than you think? It’s difficult for me to say without seeing you in person. It may be better to get a second opinion instead from an experienced Invisalign provider so that you can compare prices and be totally sure about going forward with this treatment. I hope this helps.
