Q. Hi Dr Kumar I’ve just found out that i need Braces which I can get for free on the NHS. My bottom teeth are much worse than the top, they are very crowded and I am going to have to have one removed. The top are not bad at all, just need a minor straigtening. I don’t mind getting metal braces on the bottom but I am starting uni next year and REALLY don’t want a metal brace on the top teeth as it will be sooo visible. is it possible to get the NHS metal braces for the bottom and invisalign on the top or would this cause problems?? ,
A. You are not going to save any money in getting Invisalign for 1 arch. It is better for the dentist to do only one or the other Dr R Kumar
