My dentist told me I will need to get a tooth extracted to have Invisalign. I thought this wasn’t necessary?

Q. My dentist told me I will need to get teeth extracted to have Invisalign. Is this true? I thought one of the advantabes of Invisalignwas that you didn\’t need to get any teeth extracted?,
A. It is very rare to need to take teeth out for invisalign but if your teeth are too crowded it may be needed. I can not really tell you your best plan without seeing.
