My smile has suffered a relapse, can Invisalign straighten my teeth again?

Q.
HI, i am now 17, and received dental treatment from my local orthodontist around 3/4 years ago my treatment lasted about 18-24 months, when my braces were removed I traveled for a summer holiday during the trip i lost my retainers which i was given after my treatment i didn’t think to contact my orthodontist, years later i have noticed a slight move of my lower set of teeth but a more substantial move of the upper ones, i was wondering if it would be advised to get the treatment re-done, would appreciate some advise possibly to do with the invisalign treatment to.

thanks

A.
Hi
Yes Invisalign can treat this and depending on how far the teeth have moved you may be suitable for Invisalign Lite (a limited number of aligners used for minor corrections). As you have learnt the hard way, retainers are essential and for long term, if not for life. Invisalign also have a product called Vivera retainers that are worn at night after treatment and come in packs of 3 in case one is lost!
Good luck
