Hi, i have finished my invisalign braces about six months ago. I was wearing my retainers every night but i noticed that my teeth had moved slightly so i have gone back to wearing my aligners at night. i have been advised that this can happen sometimes and that i can purchase additional aligners (the ones i have are damaged). Surely the retainers should have been made perfect in the first place? I do feel that this is just a gimmick to get more money

Hi there! I am sorry to hear your teeth have moved slightly but this can happen especially if the teeth had to move a lot to be aligned in the first place. If you still have the last few aligners, you should go back to them and then I would advise to get a fixed retainer on both upper and lower teeth if it is possible. I personally have fixed retainers and this prevents movement of the teeth. Best of luck, Vasileia
