Why Has My Bite Changed?

August 12th, 2014
Q.

Hi Drs. I’m really concerned about my bite. I recently finished my Invisalign treatment and have noticed a change in my bite from when I started. I thought it was because of the aligners doing their job during the treatment but obviously now the problem is still here. My molars don’t touch when I close my jaws and it doesn’t feel right. My dentist told me the aligners wouldn’t affect my bite but obviously this is not true. Will I have this problem forever now or is there something that can be done to put it right?

It’s Been 3 Months And I’m Seeing No Results. What Should I Do?

May 20th, 2014
Q.

When I visited my orthodontist for a consultation he did stress that my teeth needed a lot of straightening, I have suffered from a bad bite for many years. Anyway, after drawing up a treatment plan he still thought that Invisalign would help me. However, 3 months down the line and I’m not seeing ANY results. I feel like he’s just told me it will work to get money out of me. I don’t know what to do because surely I should have seen some differences by now! What do you think I should do?

Is my treatment going well?

April 7th, 2010
Q.
Hi Dr Raha I am now on my fourth tray and my dentist has told me to start changing the aligner after 10 days instead of two weeks as it was previous. Is this a good thing – what does it mean? Does it mean things are moving along well?,
