My teeth have only just started overlapping is invisalign the one for me?

September 6th, 2011
Q.

hello  I have an issue with my two front teeth, problem is that they cross over and im worried that it is just going to progress and  get worse and worse. It doesn’t look to bad at the moment but the two teeth have definitely moved over time as ive grown. Ive been online and looked at various options and priced up ones that are potentially available to me. I liked the look of invisalign and was just wondering if it would actually be ok for me to be treated with it? secondly are you aware what would the round about cost for this be?

thank you for your time

How much does Invisalign cost? Do you have to pay the whole cost of the treatment in advance?

March 19th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I am seriously considering getting Invislaign but when thinking about it am unsure whether I will be able to actually afford it? What would you say is the typical cost for it? Also, is it true that you need to pay fully in advance for Invisalign?,

Does brushing my teeth too much damage my Invisalign treatment?

March 19th, 2010
Q.
Since beginning Invisalign I have been brushing my teeth regularly but I am worried a bit too regularly. I will usually eat on 5 separate occassions a day and then brush afterwards. But I have now read online that brushing too often can cause more damage than it is worth. Should I be worried?,

August 26th, 2009
Q.
hi, i had a brace about 7 years ago and my bottom teeth have gone misaligned and wonky again. i have recently seen someone that had a permanent retainer fitted behind her lower teeth, it is just a single wire that is fixed from the canines. i was wondering if i would be able to have this done or if i have to start orthodontic treatment again? many thanks for you advise, Gemma

should i go back to a previous invisaign aligner

August 15th, 2009
Q.
Hello! I started invisalign this year. I am due to have 10U/14L. I am currently on 8U/8L but I am worried about my upper teeth so far and my dentist isn’t around to advise me. I changed onto liner 8 on Thursday night last week and I couldn’t get it to fit onto my canine button (I have a button on both canine teeth on the top). I played around with it for a while and thought I had it on and went to sleep. I woke up on Friday with the most incredible pain in my front two teeth – really sensitive. I took the liners out, had some breakfast and put them back in and again, thought they were on ok but at lunchtime I called my dentist. She was off sick and is at a conference all week this week. She said to go back to the previous liner but then I had lunch and again I thought I had it on correctly. I think I had it on correctly for the past two days but now today I am sure it’s not on properly. It’s so hard to tell. It doesn’t “click” in but if I get the iner matched up with my canine first and then fit the rest of the liner around it, that seems to do the trick…sometimes! I am convinced the liner isn’t made very well as I am religous about wearing my liners. I have an appointment to see my dentist in a weeks time – should I persevere or should I go back. Part of me thinks – go back. Another part of me thinks…hmm my teeth have stopped hurtnig and so must’ve moved successfully, would I be doing more damage than good by going back a step. So frustrating – yuor advice would be gratefully received! Helen
