Please Can You Provide Some Information on Vivera Retainers?

I’m thinking of having Invisalign and have looked at the prices on various websites, but my concern is about the Vivera retainer. I know this is something I’ll have to wear after treatment but I can’t seem to find a lot of information about them. Is there an additional cost for the retainer? I’d also like to know how long they last. Hope to hear back from you.

Removing My Vivera Braces Really Hurts After My Retainer Was Re-Cemented.

Dear Dr Kumar

I finished my Invisalign treatment in June 2013. I have a small metal retainer behind my top 6 teeth and the Vivera night time braces. The metal retainer came slightly loose at one end and this was re-cemented the same day I realised it was loose.

Since then I have had pain in all my front teeth, especially the one which is next to main one, which I wanted straightened. It has been over a week since the repair. Removing my Vivera braces really hurts and my teeth hurt all day.

Is this normal? Should I be worried?

I Need Your Advice As I Have Lost My Retainer, What Can I Do?

Hello Dr Thorne, I really need your help and advice. I have lost my final Invisalign retainer, what can I do? I’m worried about what my orthodontist will think and say. Will I have to pay extra for spares? What happens If I leave it, will my teeth start to go back to their old position? Thank you, I really hope you can offer some advice and help me with this!

I’ve Been Considering Invisalign Treatment, Would They Be Suitable For Me?

Hello Dr Kumar, I was recently thinking about getting Invisalign braces. However I’m unsure if they are really suitable for me, I’m asking for your help to find out if they are suitable for me. I’ll explain, I had braces over 2 years ago and my teeth are still straight but a few of my front back teeth have gaps in them as well as this my front teeth look slanted. However my teeth do not have an overbite which is good. How much would it cost to fix my teeth using Invisalign and how long would the period be for me having them in for? How Long Will A Vivera Retainer Last For?

Dear Dr Thorne

I am considering an Invisalign course and can see from the website that treatment for the average person starts at approximately £2500. Whilst I accept that Vivera retainers will need to be worn for the rest of my life I am unable to find anywhere on the website the cost implication of this. How long, on average, is a Vivera retainer expected to last, is the lifetime supply included as part of the course of treatment, if not how much are a pair of retainers?

Can I get a replacement for my broken retainer?

Hello Adam. My upper retainer has broken. I notice it has a
number on it. Is it possible to get a replacement made of the same material?
The dentist’s where I had the Invisalign course has now closed down. They made
me a replacement once for a previous broken upper, but the material quality was
terrible, more like rubber. I was hoping you could point me in the right
direction to obtaining a correct replacement. Many thanks.

Is a retainer after Invisalign important?

hello

I have completed my treatment and am very happy with the results, but i haven’t been given a retainer. I thought that would be part of the cost, am I right in thinking that? I really don’t want to waste all the work and i really like the way my teeth look down how much is it to buy a retainer for my teeth? Is a removable one as good as one fixed to the back of the teeth?

I broke my retainer in half when cleaning it. What shall I do?

Hi, recently i was brushing the bottom of my invisalign retainers and suddenly it snapped in half in the middle but i can still wear them fine and my next appointment is next wednesday march 3rd.
