What can I do to stop my teeth moving again?

Q.
I have been wearing my invisalign braces since Sept, since then I have spoken with numerous people who have worn braces at some point in their life, most having got them young therefore not having to pay, generally most say that after a few years they notice slight movement, even though they wore the retainer for the suggested period, obviously having spent a lot of money on this treatment, I am looking for any advice you have that will help prevent future movement?
A.
Hello,
Relapse is always possible after Orthodontic treatment is complete. Retainers are crucial to help prevent or reduce the chances of relapse. Retainers can be provided in the form of fixed wires (bonded directly to the back of the teeth after treatment), Removable retainers for nighttime wear or a combination of the above.
I recommend to all of my patients that in order to prevent\reduce movement post treatment…. Retainers are for life.
