Will Invisalign Close the Gaps Between My Teeth?

Q.
Hi Dr Patel! Recently I’ve been considering my options for braces and Invisalign sound great. I had braces about 6 years ago to fix my overbite, and my teeth are still more or less straight, but a few of my front teeth on the top and bottom have gaps in them and the bottom ones are slightly slanted. Would Invisalign be suitable to close these gaps? I’d also like to know how much it would cost if I were to go ahead with Invisalign, and also how long the process would take. Thank you, I look forward to your reply.

Hello, thank you for your question. From what you’ve told me, it sounds like you’ve had relapse from your previous braces and your teeth have started to move back to their old position. It is certainly possible that Invisalign can help, but it’s best to visit an Invisalign certified orthodontist who can examine your teeth properly. Invisalign usually costs about £3500, and it’s difficult to say how long it would take without seeing you but I’m sure your orthodontist will be able to give you a good estimate. Good luck, home this has been helpful.
