Will Invisalign Straighten My Teeth?

Q.
Hi Dr Akere. I was involved in an accident 3 years ago and a few my teeth were damaged in the process. I’ve been saving up the money to have dental treatment which is why it has taken me so long, but now I’m financially ready to get braces. My top two teeth seem to dip inwards if that makes sense, and I feel like I look weird. They cause me some pain sometimes but it’s not constant, I only feel it from time to time.Would Invisalign straighten my teeth?

Hello, thanks for getting in touch with your enquiry. You can certainly use Invisalign to correct the alignment of your teeth. But I do strongly suggest you visit a dentist regarding the pain before you commit to treatment. Your dentist will be able to discuss the damage with you and give you peace of mind. Then you can begin to discuss treatments. Good luck!
