Would having teeth removed to make space for Invisalign affect the shape of my face?

Q. would having teeth removed for invisalign to make space for other teeth have an effect on the shape of my face? i ask because i have a small face and chin so dont think i\’m crazy! i have heard that missing teeth can affect the shape of your face, so could you please clarify.,

A. Extraction are needed in cases of severe crowding. The shape of the face may be affected depending on the case. There are several factors that determines if extraction of teeth are needed.
