I just wanted to inquire about invisalign for younger patients. My son is 13 years old and his teeth have come through very crookedly and now that they are all through I thought it would be time to do something about it to help boost his confidence. I really like the thought of him wearing invisalign, as it is invisible and he won’t be made to feel as awkward as he would wearing big metal braces-so my question is even though he is 13 would be be able to get invisalign and from how I have described his condition in this message do you think invisalign is the best treatment for him?

Hello there! We do treat crowded cases on young teenagers all the time as long as their permanent premolar teeth have come through. Their treatment time is usually much reduced compared to fixed metal braces and Invisalign is also much more hygienic as the aligners are removed for eating and their actually plaque repelling.
