Is there an age limit for invisalign?

Q.
Is 60 too old to get invisalign braces? My teeth are not too bad but now that I have a bit of extra money lying around i would love to get them looking their best. would i be okay to do this? also, i have heard that tooth whitening can be a part of the invisalign process? is this included in the initial cost?

Can I skip to my next set of aligners?

I am now on the last day before switching to my next aligners but there is no tension or restricion with the ones I am currently wearing, meaning they have done their job I guess. Would I be able to move on to the next aligners now or am I better sticking to the plan set out by my dentist?

How often do you need to clean invisalign aligners?

I am wanting to get invisalign, mostly because I really like that theya re invisible and hard for people to notice, especeially compared to metal braces. What kind of things could possibly stain the braces, and also, how regular is it aht you have to clean them during the day? Will I have to carry a toothbrush around with me or something?

What to do if aligner is rubbing against tongue?

Q.
I only just started my invisalign treatment yesterday and already i am having problems. The problem is that I have noticed that there is a pointy bit sticking out of the tray and it is coming into contact with my tongue which hurts quite a bit after all the rubbing. I have an appointment next week to get this sorted out and the things shaved down a bit or something, but is there anything I can do in the mean time to ease the irritable thing?
