I am on maternity exemption and am wondering if I would be able to get Invisalign on the NHS?

October 25th, 2010
Q.
I am in my early twenties and am currently on maternity exemption. My bit is wrong and my teeth are not aligned which has led to me getting quite bad headaches and jaw ache not forgetting the level of self consciousness it gives me. I feel I am too old for a metal braces so was hoping invisible braces would be available to me from the NHS?,

Would I be able to start Damon Braces in UK and finish treatment abroad?

October 25th, 2010
Q.
Hello I\’m thinking of getting Damon Braces. But my problem is- I might not be able to stay in England for too long- maybe 3 or 4 more month. Is it possible to put Damon Braces in London and to have the remaining adjustments in other countries (Ukraine or Russia or in any other eastern European country) ? Or is fee for adjustments must be paid in advance and done by the same doctor? Thank you,

Should I clean my teeth after eating sugary snacks or are you supposed to wait an hour?

October 25th, 2010
Q.
Hello good doctor. I am a so called newbie to all this and am now two weeks into my treatment. All is going well, well there are no problems which is always good. But… I have learnt that after eating sugary snakcs or drinks you are not supposed to clean your teeth for an hour after doing so. Is there any truth to this? If this is the case then should I ignore it so I can my aligners back on quick time? So many conflicting messages flying around these days!,
