Are the costs my dentist is charging for Invisalign treatment correct?

Q.
I recently went to my dentist to enquire about invisalign but wanted a second opinion as he has only been involved in invisalign for two years. I visited another dentist who told me that I would need invisalign for ten months and he put together a price plan. However the prices was £800, £600 higher than the first quote and I am expected to pay for xrays outside of this. The dentist told me that xrays should be carried by dentists every few years but I feel that I am being misled..after doing some research the xrays are needed as part of the diagnostics for invisalign. Does this price seem high & should xrays be included?
A.
Dear Enquirer,
all dentists have different costs and different ideas of how to do Invisalign.
Some dentists will appear cheap but then add extra costs such as xrays, retainers etc.
your quote on fees seems a bit misleading, were you quoted 8000 pounds?
