Hi,
Having recently attended the latest G3 seminar we are now aware that as of 16th May the new Invisalign G3 software will go live for all Invisalign Doctors.
From a patient perspective the treatment will remain the same. On the whole, the aligners will function and appear as before.
The G3 changes to be implemented are to aid the Invisalign Doctor. Extra design features have been introduced to increase Usability, Applicability and most importantly Predictabilty.
These extra design features will therefore enable us Invisalign Doctors to plan and treat our cases with even more control. Depending upon the case, this may be of more benefit to us in cases were some of the tooth movements required may be more difficult.
I would recommend that you have your Invisalign Consultation at your earliest convenience and if your Invisalign Doctor believes that your specific case would benefit from one or more of the G3 alterations then your recorded information could be stored and put on hold until the new software can look at it from the 16th May 2011.
