what are the main things that you can treat with invisalign? I have a overbite that makes me look really goofy and my friend, who is also interested in getting invisalign, has a gap between her two front teeth. We’d both like to have invisalign because no one will see it when we are wearing it, but just wanted to make sure that we could be treated before I went and asked my dentist.

Invisalign can treat a considerable amount of cases that regular braces can….just sometimes takes longer if there are big tooth movements to be made. In your case if the teeth can be brought back easily, for example by tipping / uprighting them then Invisalign will work very well. If your overjet (where the upper teeth are in front of the lower teeth) is due to your upper to lower jaw position / relationship then fixed braces or more extensive treatment will be necessary.
In your friend’s case – if there is enough room to bring the upper teeth back to close the space then again she will be a great case for Invisalign – I have treid several cases like this – as you can see on my website gallery.
I would definitely speak with your dentist or an experienced Invisalign provider (such as a platinum or platinum elite provider)
