Can Invisalign correct my crooked teeth and ‘fangs?’

Q.
hi

i have really, really horrible teeth, which are crooked and twisted and then have those weird fang things, with my teeth growing out of my gums! i really like the idea of invisalign as it just so much more unnoticeable than other braces, but do you think i am a viable candidate for this, or is there a brace system better suited to me? If there are other braces better for my condition could you please recommend them to me?

thank you for your time

A.
Hi there,

From what you are saying it would seem that your canine teeth have been forced to erupt in high and pushed out position, probably due to crowding which would explain the twisted position. Invisalign can be used for a wide variety of problems including crowding and lack of space. I would certainly suggest arranging an appointment with an Invisalign certified doctor to see what can be done for you.

Many thanks,

    Hi,
I have full invisalign (19 sets) I was told to wear 1 of 19 for two weeks but I changed to 2 of 19 a day and a half earlier than I should have done.

Will this throw everything out of sync or will it just mean 2 of 19 has to work harder to straighten my teeth?

2 of 19 certaily does feel tighter than the first one.

    Thanks.
