Can Invisalign correct my relapsed teeth?

Q.
Hi there,
I wore a metal brace about 15 years ago for about two year. I can’t really remember the exact problems but I know that my lower jaw jutted out more than my upper jaw. I also had a fang tooth growing above the other teeth.
I didn’t wear a retainer after the treatment and I have noticed a shifting in my teeth from a really good position to some of my teeth moving around .
I wondered if wearing Invisalign for a period of time might help move them back and then perhaps I would have to wear a retainer for a bit?

Hi
Yes Invisalign is often used to correct treatment relapses…where the teeth have started to move back to their original position. The sooner that the relapse is corrected the less amount of time Invisalign will have to be worn.
You will definitely have to wear a retainer afterwards (you can see what happens if you don’t). This will be long term and possibly for life but will definitely be worth it.
Good luck
