Can Invisalign straighten my teeth in time for my sister’s wedding?

Q.
hello there, i have a severe overbite and a gap between my two front teeth would invisalign be a likely candidate? How long does it take the treatment to reach its goal on average, I just ask because I am to attend my sister’s wedding in 6 months and would love to have straight teeth in time of the pictures! If Invisalign wouldn’t be the best choice would you be able to recommend me another brace system, I would be very grateful if you could. Thank you for your time

Hi
Without seeing you, it’s difficult to say how long or whether Invisalign is suitable for you. However I have closed large spaces between the front teeth and corrected signifiant overbites with Invisalign. I doubt it will be finished in 6 months, however there will be some correction by then and the great thing about Invisalign is that it is not seen so won’t affect the photos.
Fixed braces maybe slightly quicker in your case, or you could look at bonding (adding tooth coloured filling material to the teeth) to close the space and then correct everything with braces after the wedding.
Good luck
