Can Invisalign treat my crossbite?

Q.
HI

I have a cross bite where my upper left set of teeth are caved into my bottom set of teeth, i see a slight diffrence in facial symetry also, i was advised to have a palatal expander< but it didnt fit with my current lifestyle and had no one to turn the key, i am looking at invisalign< wanted to know how realistic this would be in correcting the crossbite, is this possible?? and have you treated cases like mine using invisalign and lenght of treatment for this kind of correction. thankyou

kind regards

Invisalign like all ortho systems can correct a crossbite, but the degree as to how much depends on your crossbite. I usually find that the teeth have caved in and thus creating a crossbite. Invisalign can push out the teeth to be perpendicular again. It usually takes about 6-9 months to correct. retention is very important
