Q. Over the years, my teeth have been getting discoloured, even though I take good care of them. I am now thinking of getting them whitened but the prices seem pretty steep at the dentist. I am wondering whether home kits work well? I am worried it may just be a waste of money to go down this route?
A. I am afraid I have never ever tried any home bleaching kit so I cannot advise whether it works or not. Generally custom made trays fit better therefore work better. Also in-chair bleaching can use different gel which might give you better result.
