Hi there! Invisalign compared to any fixed orthodontic system offers the opportunity of better oral hygiene because it it a removable brace and the patient can brush and floss his teeth as normal. Flossing is not possible with a fixed brace. Also the material the aligners are made of does not attract plaque and the Invisalign aligners are removed when eating. Furthermore, if a patient keeps the same oral hygiene regime before, during and after a brace then obviously this is beneficial. Hope that helps, Vasileia.
