I have quite a large overbite, would Invisalign be a suitable treatment for this?

Q.
Hello,

i have quite a large overbite but i really would like to avoid having metal braces as they are ugly, do invisalign work on overbites or would i be better with inman aligners?
what would you suggest is my best option?

many thanks

A.
The answer to this question is very much dependent upon the severity of your overbite.
Invisalign works extremely well in many situations. The advantage of Invisalign is our ability to be able to show our patients, through sophisticated computer software what your predicted tooth positions can look like after treatment. This is called a Clincheck and is not possible with traditional fixed braces or Inman aligners.
My advice for you would be to locate an experienced Invisalign Doctor and attend for a full clinical and radiographic examination. An experienced Invisalign doctor will be able to inform you if you are a suitable candidate for the treatment. A clincheck would further help you decide if Invisalign can give you the results you desire.
Good Luck with your treatment.
