Q. I have read that the consultation is free with many dentists but what about the moulds and all that stuff that needs to be taken. Is that the later stage when treatment is definitely going ahead? If so what happens at the constaultion? Does the dentist just check my teeth to see if I am suitable for treatment? Is it a full treatment cost that I will receive or will there be things down the lines that come up?,
A. Generally the consultation is a chance to have a chat and explain the options available to you. There would be a fee to take moulds and carry out a full consultation. At my practice teh fee inclused all the treatments however other dentists have costings seperated.
