I’m struggling to take my aligners out, can you offer me some advice?

Q. I am in my first week of treatment and it is taking me forever to get the aligners out. I have cracked several of my nails and this makes my fingers very sore. What am I doing wrong, if you could please offer any advice?,

A. Hello, At first patients find it challenging to fit & remove the appliance. You need to practice and it gets easier. Try to use the tip of your finger instead of your nails. Also some patients like shorter nails during the treatment.By the end of your second week the aligners get loose anyway.
