I’ve chipped my back tooth, how long will I have to do without the invisalign for?

Q. I\’ve chipped my back tooth and i\’m wearing the invisalign. It happened when I was biting down on some hard food, I know it was silly and i\’m waiting to see my ortho, what are the chances of my treatment being canceled till i get my chipped tooth fixed? thank you.,

A. Hello, It depends how damaged the fractured tooth is. After the above tooth is fixed and you can fit the invisalign aligner properly, there is no need to cancel/ stop or restart your treatment. It is importatnt to discuss the plan with both your general dentist and invisalign doctor.
