IPr can be difficult to do at the early stages of Invisalign. It is better to carry out IPR at the front when the teeth are straighter.
maybe he/she was using an oscillating cutting device? We use a diamond 0.2mm disc which is kinder to the patient.
It should get easier to do IPR as the teeth get straighter
