Is it normal to begin treatment on top trays and then add bottom ones later?

Q. Hye. I am set to begin my treatment at the end of this month, and everything has pretty much been finalised. One thing though I am curious about. After talking to my dentist and being shown how treatment will develop through the clincheck I discovered that I will begin treatment only with top trays at first and then bottom ones will be added after. I have read up a bit on this and it doesn\’t seem to be the norm? Does it make a i difference?,
A. It is not unusual to start one arch before the other. It is perfectly okay.
