Is my daughter, at 10 years old, too young for Invisalign?

Q. my daughter is 10 years old and most of her adult teeth are through however, they are very crooked and very misaligned. Her dentist has said she isn\’t really old enough for braces yet but I don\’t understand why that is if her adult teeth are through. Can she have invisalign at this age?,

A. She can start invisalign teen at 13. Ask your dentist to refer her to an orthodontist as some treatment is started at 10 years old.
