Is tooth extraction the best option to make room before invisalign treatment?

Q. I have been for an invisalign consultation and been told that I will need to wear rubber bands to move my teeth and make room for the others. Would this enable me to achieve the best results or should I have some teeth extracted to make room?,

A. Dear Sir/Madam, I cannot comment on your specific treatment without having seen you. My advice would be to seek a second opinion on wether or not you need to use elastics or have extractions. I do not use elastics but have on occasion removed 2 teeth Dr R Kumar BDSLDSRCS
