Hi I’m just starting my Invisalign odyssey, in am about a week into my first tray and two of the attachments have fallen off. i rang the dentists office and the receptionist told me as long as the aligner stayed in it wasn’t a big deal if the attachments had fallen off. Is this right? otherwise whats the point in having the attachments? any help you give on the matter to help me clear it up would be great.

Hi there! Sorry to hear that 2 of your attachments have come off. Sometimes it happens, and we do replace them on your next appointment. Bear in mind that the first two weeks of treatment are the hardest ones since you are getting used to placing and removing your aligners. I can assure you that it gets easier from your second set, because you are more experienced and your teeth would have started moving. Good luck with your treatment! Vasileia
