My teeth are noticeably straighter but my open bite remains. What can be done?

Q. Hi I have had Invisalign for a couple of years, partially to straigten my teeth and partially to correct an open bite. Due to various reasons I was advised to get Invisalign rather than wire braces, and whilst my teeth are noticeably straighter my open bite is still as much of an issue as it ever was. I am now coming towards the end of my course of treatment. Is there anything you could recommened to help resolve this problem? thanks,
A. Hi there! refinement can be an option with invisalign. Please talk to your dentist to make sure what your treatment goals are. If it is an anterior open bite, those teeth will need attachments to help them extrude.
