My teeth have relapsed after previous brace work, can Invisalign move them back into place?

Q.
Hi, I had quite a lot of orthodontic work done during my early teens and by 16 I had a perfect set of teeth but stupidly stopped wearing my retainers. I’m 19 now and have notices my teeth are going into a square shape at the bottom, and my top two front teeth are crossing slightly. I’m really upset! My overbite has also worsened slightly, but maybe thats just from the square shape of my bottom teeth? Would invisalign me good for me?

Thanks!

A.
Hi,
I am sorry to here that there has been a relapse in your tooth positions since your orthodontic treatment has been completed.
Unfortunately, without consistent retainer wear post treatment, teeth have the ability to move regardless of the original form of orthodontic treatment carried out.
We use Invisalign a lot to correct the relapsed cases but without seeing you clinically, it is difficult to say whether or not Invisalign is the best solution for you at this time.
My advise would be for you to visit an experienced invisalign doctor to assess your suitability. Once corrected ensure you either wear your removable retainers everynight for bed at least or go down a fixed retainer path.
Best wishes
