Q. Hello my orthodontist gave me some wax sorta stuff to stop the sharp bits on the attachments from digging in. The thing is, it\’s not really working and my gums are still very sore. They\’ve been like this for weeks now ever since i had the attachments and i just want them off they\’re causing me that much pain! Is there ANYTHING else i can try??,
A. Hello, Usually the gum/cheek gets better within a couple of weeks.You could try using topical gel on the soft tissue to help the healing. The best is to consult with your dentist.
