Would a child keeping their mouth open lead to protruding teeth?

Q. I wants to find out if a kid that keeps his mouth open always as a habit can develop protuding teeth at the upper jaw. What is the solution to teeth grinding while asleep?,

A. Dear Parent it is not possible to say that an open mouth will produce protruding teeth; more so it will develop a dry mouth. Children do grind their teeth at night. For adults we recommend night guards to wear at night. Dr R Kumar
