Would invisalign be more suitable for a nervous patient than metal braces?

Q. I was recommended metal braces as a teenager, but I am pretty dental phobic so I avoided them. I regret this now as my teeth are not straight, but I am still pretty wary of metal braces. Would Invisalign be more suitable for a nervous patient?,
