Is the use of putty for impressions the only option as I hate it?

Would Invisalign work to fix my rotated canine or should I get conventional braces?

How often should I be seeing my dentist during the Invisalign treatment?

I am now only a week into my invisalign treatment but can you tell me how much interaction I can expect to have with my dentist? She seems to be getting her assistance to do a lot of the work and then she will come in and finish off the job and make sure things are going smoothly. How often will appointments be? Dentist has said 5mm overjet could be lessened through Invisalign. Is this accurate?
