How can I correct the minor protrusion I have?

August 23rd, 2012
Q.

Hi, I am 30 years old. I had fell down when I was a kid and the impact broke my front 2 teeth (top) slightly. This also resulted in my teeth structure getting slightly protruded. Its not too protruded though. 4-5 years back I got the broken teeth corrected. This was done by shaping the 2 broken teeth and using a ceramic cap placed on top of the shaped teeth. My top 2 wisdom tooth has also been removed last year. All my teeth are perfectly shaped and aligned. I would now like to correct the minor top protrusion. Please suggest a suitable mode of treatment for the same. I do not want to undergo a painful procedure. Can Invisalign be used to correct this minor protrusion.

I am unhappy with the level of Invisalign treatment I have received from my dentist. What is my next step?

August 21st, 2012
Q.

There is a need to be able to file a complaint . My dentist registered with Invisalign and I feel he did not have enough training nor his assistant. The assistant did not know how to do impressions and damaged my gum while doing it, and the dentist ignored it . I got a second option from an orthodontist and am much happier with his experience and wisdom. He is much more thorough. I feel invisalign should not allow dentists to take on complex cases.Could you please give me some advice about what to do about this matter? I look forward to hearing from you.

Can you help me decide between Invisalign and fixed braces?

August 15th, 2012
Q.

Hello,
I would very much like to have Invisalign braces mainly because they look so discreet and they are removable but I am worried that perhaps I should get fixed braces. If I lost the aligners how much generally do you have to pay?I don’t think it would be possible to lose them but I have skills at losing pretty much anything and everything. Also, once you start having the treatment is there a cooling off period in case I don’t like them? I am worried that when they start moving my teeth it will hurt and I would probably be tempted to take them out which worries me.

Would Invisalign be suitable for me as I grind my teeth?

August 1st, 2012
Q.

Hi there.
I would very much like to have Invisalign treatment on a few slightly off teeth that are not quite in line or straight enough. The problem I have is that I grind my teeth quite a lot at night. A couple of my teeth are quite worn down at the back but these are not the teeth I wish to treat. I am worried that my tooth grinding will harm the aligners and I will have to keep paying for more to be made?
If this is the case, what would you suggest as an alternative to Invisalign as I would like something very discreet if possible. Thank you for your help, I look forward to your reply.
