Q. I am a very nervous patient, and I hate all the instruments and the general vibe of a dentist. However, I also understand how important it is to take care of your teeth. Do any dentists offer special services for patients like myself? My current dentist is none too caring.
A. You need to find a dentist that you feel comfortable with, at my practice over 60% of our new patients are very nervous and have had bad previous experiences. You need to find a dentist who will listen to you and make sure you feel in complete control. At my practice we also carry out sedation. Ask your friends if they can recommend someone.
