Hello Adam. My upper retainer has broken. I notice it has a
number on it. Is it possible to get a replacement made of the same material?
The dentist’s where I had the Invisalign course has now closed down. They made
me a replacement once for a previous broken upper, but the material quality was
terrible, more like rubber. I was hoping you could point me in the right
direction to obtaining a correct replacement. Many thanks.

Hi , yes you can get another retainer made, if these were Invisalign ones, known as ‘Vivera retainers’ they can be reprinted to the same tooth position. If they aren’t then a new retainer can easily be made with a further impression of your teeth. I would seek an Invisalign registered dentist near where you live and take in your broken retainer to show them. It is important to get this made up as soon as possible to keep you straight teeth and smile.
